West Central Tribune - 11/10/2023

Nov. 10—Veterans Day is Saturday, Nov. 11, a day of remembrance to honor all military veterans of the U.S. armed forces. The day was originally known as Armistice Day and Remembrance Day to commemorate the end of World War I. In 1954, the U.S. Congress changed the day to Veterans Day.

Veterans Day honors all U.S. veterans on Nov. 11, while Memorial Day in May honors those who died while in military service.
